PortalGuard v4.3 can write run-time error and auditing information to the Windows Event Viewer. This may be enough to determine the cause of the error. PortalGuard has its own log under the “Applications and Services Logs” folder:
For logging to appear here, you must have done the following in the PortalGuard Configuration Editor (PG_Config.exe):
1) Run the “Initial Setup” item from the Action menu while running it as an Administrator:
2) Enabled High-Level Event Logging in the Bootstrap configuration
NOTE: The event logging may appear under the Application log with a source of PortalGuard if logging was performed before Initial Setup was run.
