About the Authors

Tom Hoey

Tom, PistolStar’s founder and CEO, has over 25 years of experience as a software engineer and is one of the main architects for the widely successful PistolStar product line. He also works closely with his core team to define the sales, marketing and product strategies that drive PistolStar’s growth and success. Prior to launching PistolStar in 2000, Tom was at Digital Equipment Corporation and Iris Associates, an IBM Lotus subsidiary, developing core functionality found in lower-level operating systems and in Lotus Notes and Domino.

Gregg Browinski

Gregg, PistolStar’s Chief Technology Officer, oversees PistolStar’s product development and technical support. Prior to joining the company in 2001, he received extensive experience as a developer at IBM Lotus and Iris Associates. Gregg has served as the lead architect and developer for PistolStar’s Password Power suite of authentication solutions. He is responsible for the product’s technical success and the recognition it has received through award nominations.

Larry Conroy

Larry is a Technical Support/Developer here at PistolStar. With a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, he has worked for Raytheon, and then moved on to other corporations, such as Kronos, Axent, and Applied Microsystems. Over the last ten years Larry has specialized in improving and growing the support process, previously and within PistolStar Inc.

Jason Garfagna

Jason is a Project Manager at PistolStar, Inc. in Bedford, NH. He received a degree in Marketing from Mt. Washington College and spent over eight years as a manager of sales in the customer service industry. His current position has him focusing on providing authentication solutions to companies worldwide.

Ryan McDermott

Ryan is a Communications Manager and provides a major role in content management here at PistalStar, Inc.  He has his Master’s Degree in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University and has spent over 5 years in a communication type role

Tyler Dannat

Tyler is the Marketing Manager at PistolStar. His main responsibilities are focused around Social Media, Content Creation, and Search Engine Optimization strategies. Setting daily objectives, he identifies, engages with, and learns from both valued customers and industry influencers in order to drive traffic and increase brand awareness. Tyler received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Social Media from Southern New Hampshire University. Originally from Northern Vermont with a background in small business management, Tyler now resides in Manchester and brings both marketing passion and years of hands-on experience to the team.

Christopher R. Perry

Christopher is a content generator and inbound marketing associate at PistolStar, Inc. He has a Master’s Degree in English from SUNY Albany, and enjoys reading and writing about all things: especially poetry, science fiction and fantasy. Christopher’s daily tasks see him using his customer service and IT experience to improve written content for PistolStar, Inc., while working with the Inbound Team to improve SEO and content outreach.
