After installing the PortalGuard server and testing with a login to the new PortalGuard web site, the user is presented with this screen:
The “Static Content” service under the Common HTTP Features for the Web Server is not chosen. The “Static Content” service allows the Web Server to publish static Web file formats, such as HTML pages and image files. Use “Static Content” to publish files on your Web server that users can then view using a Web browser.
Enable the “Static Content” service under the Common HTTP Features section of the Web Server role.
1.Open the Server Manager with Start->Administrative Tools-> Server Manager:
2.Click on the Roles menu item under the Server Manager heading to show the Web Server (IIS) role.
3.Make sure the contents under the Web Server (IIS) role is displayed.
4.Click the Add Role Services link within the “Role Services” section.
5.Check the box next to the “Static Content” label and click “Next”.
6. Click Install.
7.Verify that the installation succeeded and click “Close”.
8. Navigate to the PortalGuard web site and you should see the pretty graphics now:
